SMS terms
Text messages sent through AI Receptionist on behalf of the businesses that use it.
Last updated 25 October 2026.
What these messages are
Businesses use AI Receptionist to answer their phone calls and texts. When you call or text one of them, or ask it to keep you updated, you may get text messages from that business's number about your conversation: answers to your questions, appointment confirmations, reminders and changes, follow-ups on a message you left, and replies when you text the business. These are customer-care messages, not marketing.
How you agree to receive them
You agree by texting the business, or by giving your mobile number to the business (for example on a call) and asking for or agreeing to text updates. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase.
How often
Message frequency varies with your conversations with the business, usually a few messages per conversation or appointment.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
Stopping messages
Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that business's number. You may get one final message confirming you've been opted out; after that you won't get texts from that number. Reply START to opt back in.
Help
Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact the business directly. You can also reach us: Use the contact form and the team will reply.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
See our privacy policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the service providers that deliver the messages.
